WCSAT archers on top, bags numerous medals in CAVRAA 2019

Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades sharp shooting archers displayed their accuracy, grabbing a total of 18 medals, reigning supreme in the 2019 Cagayan Valley Regional Athletic Association held at Isabela Sports Complex, Isabela on March 9-12, 2019.

Arcie Dela Cruz redeemed himself after not participating last year notching the third spot with 2 golds, 1 silver and 3 bronze, earning his first Palarong Pambansa delegation.

Three-time qualifier Sam Lester Agcaoili only landed in the fourth spot this year, not enough to earn his fourth Palarong Pambansa tilt.

Meanwhile, the archery girls worked hard to be the back-to-back overall champions led by Andreia Domingo who took home 5 golds in the 40, 50, 60 and FITA Round. All of the three athletes were qualified for the Palarong Pambansa 2019.

The team proved that they are unbeatable in the Provincial Meet as they also dominated the recently held CPAA Meet 2018 at the Cagayan Sports Complex.

The coaches, Jay Joseph Domingo and Jenifer Panaga are confident that their players can replicate their outstanding performance on the upcoming Palarong Pambansa 2019.

Debuting archers Kristle Paguyo, Hannah Rosel Coloma performed well this year who were qualified in the prestigious Regional meet in only their first try.

On the other hand, futsal star Nhowelyn Udarbe earned her third straight Palarong Pambansa tilt. Udarbe is a top prospect in her class. and one of the best player in the region.
